CoB at Fête of Britain Convention at Conway Hall

Organised by Absurd Intelligence and Brian Eno’s Hard Art Collective, the Fête of Britain Convention is part of an ongoing series of gatherings that began at Factory International in Manchester in February 2024.

On 11 September 2025, the Convention came to London for the first time, filling Conway Hall with around 300 people. As host Clare Farrell put it, the intention was to “put a new convention on the political calendar at the beginning of party conference season.”

The day was shaped around making authentic connections between the activists, artists, and concerned citizens in the room. Rev Jonathan and Michelle Watson were present on behalf of the Church of Burn, meeting old friends and new.
